Buzzcraft

Buzzcraft Well Being Days.

Our groups are small, non judgmental safe spaces for people who are looking for a gentle recovery focused peer support. Our facilitators all have lived experience of mental health conditions and recovery.
We all need time out and connecting with nature is a wonderful way to enable yourself that time and decompress from those things that are making life hard.
On the farm we have a variety of wellbeing nature based activities which will allow you some headspace in a safe supportive environment. From green wood carving to equine and animal training, to seasonal activities such as introductions to bee keeping.
Our Buzzcraft days are half bushcraft and half nature interactions, based in a semi rural environment with a variety of animals around, we have something for everyone.

We are very happy to say that for the 2023 season, these wellbeing days are entirely funded for Derbyshire residents.

Recovery and wellbeing

Meeting every Thursday and Friday between 10am and 2.30pm

Our recovery group is open to all members of the community who feel they are recovering their mental wellbeing, and/or those recovering from the effects of substance or alcohol misuse.

Members MUST be referred into this service through a community connector, support worker or support organisation, if in doubt send us a message.

Members may find this group fluctuates between very busy and working one to one with facilitators.

Join us for a day starting with reflections around the camp area with a coffee and a gentle start to the day. moving on to animal interactions or working the farm/ allotment or apiary we use this space as a chance to build peer relationships, understanding and support.

We also have workshops running as part of the support program. This is a chance for people in recovery to join a grass roots project, and really make a difference to themselves and to their community.

Member led, recovery focused, interactions in nature.
